today I want to give you some advice for amazing things you can do in London for free!
There are many fun things you can do in London without paying too much. So here are a few of my top tips! 🙂
Free things to do in London
If you’re thinking about going into the London Eye think about visiting the Sky Garden first. I want to be honest, I haven’t been there yet but it’s on top of my to do list!
If you want to have a great view just go there and save the money you would spent for the London Eye. All you need to do is to reserve a free ticket on their homepage. They just want to make sure it’s not too crowded so you need to reserve a ticket before you actually go there.
In London most of the museums are free! There are some really famous ones like The British Museum or The National History Museum, both are free. And you can see amazing things there, believe me!
Sometimes you need a bit of time to visit the museums, especially on the weekends. Then you need to queue a bit before you can enter the museum. Many people want to go there if it’s free, quite obvious, isn’t it? 😉
Shoreditch is great for you if you’re into art and like to see lots of graffitis and streetart. It’s amazing how “normal” people like you and me can be so creative to make these amazing pictures!

Yes, I’m a foodie. And if you love food as much like I do, you’ll love the London Markets! Even if you don’t buy something there, everything looks and smells amazing! I can recommend Borough Market, all the food there is really fresh and looks absolutely delicious!
In case you’re there around lunchtime just try something new instead of going into a restaurant. I’m sure you’ll enjoy it.
The touristy Doubledecker Tour is something that I wanted to do till I found out that there are normal busses that drive the same route like the touristy ones do. So I easily used my Oyster Card for the busses and saved lots of money.
Ok, this is one activity that isn’t completely free but yes, you do save a lot of money if you do this instead of a Tourist Tour. Just sit upstairs in the front row of a doubledecker and you have your own Sightseeing Tour!
In case you need a break from the crowded centre of London visit Richmond Park. It’s a huge park south west of London. Believe it or not, you can actually see cute deers there! How cool is that?!
Ok guys, let me know if you enjoy reading tipps like these!
Is there something cool that I’ve forgot? Any other free things to do in London? Let me know!
See you soon,
